Presenter Bios:
Tim Newton-
Tim represents employers in state and federal court litigation
involving employment discrimination under the Age Discrimination
in Employment Act, Americans with Disabilities Act, Title VII of the
Civil Rights Act of 1964, the Family and Medical Leave Act, and other
state and federal laws. Tim also regularly counsels and guides clients
on employee relations issues, working with clients to develop
strategies to deal with and resolve these issues. Tim also presents
training sessions, including harassment, diversity, FMLA/ADA,
investigations, and proper employee documentation.
Glen Fagan-
Glen Fagan is a partner in the firm's Litigation Section and his
practice focuses on employee relations counseling and representing
companies in employment disputes. Glen represents employers in
both state and federal court litigation involving discrimination under
the Age Discrimination in Employment Act, the Americans with
Disabilities Act, Title VII of the Civil Rights Act of 1964, and the
Family and Medical Leave Act. Glen also represents employers
before federal and state agencies such as the Equal Employment
Opportunity Commission. Glen has conducted numerous
employee/management training programs, and regularly counsels
clients dealing with a wide range of employment-related issues.
Prior to joining Constangy, Glen served as a Law Clerk to the
Honorable C. Christopher Hagy, United States Magistrate Judge.
W. Wright Mitchell-
W. Wright Mitchell practices in the areas of labor and employment
law and civil litigation. Mr. Mitchell has litigated cases in state and
federal courts across the United States. Drawing on his litigation
experience, Mr. Mitchell has developed extensive expertise in
assisting employers in a wide variety of workplace issues, including
development and implementation of workplace policies and
procedures, drafting employment agreements, restrictive covenants
and separation agreements, responding to charges of discrimination
filed with the United States Equal Employment Opportunity
Commission, handling matters pending before the Occupational
Safety and Health Administration (OSHA) and defending lawsuits
brought under various federal and state employment laws, including
Title VII.
