About Us

Greater Rome Society for Human Resource Management (SHRM) has been an affiliate chapter of the National Society for Human Resource Management (SHRM) since 1998.  We are here to serve the Human Resource professionals of the Greater Rome area encompassing all of Floyd County, as well as parts of Bartow, Gordon, Polk and other Northwest Georgia counties.

Greater Rome SHRM meets on the 2nd Tuesday of the month (as scheduled) at Georgia Northwestern Technical College in Rome, Georgia. In addition to monthly luncheons, the chapter also has seminars aimed at keeping HR professionals up to date on current issues such as employment law, compliance and changes in the industry.  The meeting luncheons and seminars are included in the annual membership fee.  In addition, Greater Rome SHRM is alignining local membership with National SHRM membership.  For more information on joining our chapter, please contact romeshrm@outlook.com
